Well fingers crossed and there should be some league action this weekend. Very good turn out in tonights training with players eager to get back into things following the mid-season break forced on us by the weather.

Saturday fixtures

It looks like the weather is improving enough that there should be some rugby played this weekend. The Firsts are away to Rumney in a rearranged league fixture, whilst the Seconds play Tylorstown at home.
Having spoken to our resident weather expert, Spencer Burrows, it seems that these matches have a high chance of being played. [...]

Cup Final Date

Llantrisant Seconds booked their place in the final of the Ivor Williams Cup after a narrow victory over a strong Ynysybwl Seconds.
The final will be played on Sunday, 24 February at Abercynon. The Black Army will face Mountain Ash in the final.

Another wash out!

Yet again fixtures fell victim to the weather. Saturday’s fixture against Beddau cancelled due to the heavy rain. This now leaves the Black Army with 5 league games to catch-up. We have to look back as far as 22 December for our last league fixture (at home against UWIC).
